		<description>Changyeob Lee is a
British-registered Architect (ARB, RIBA), designer and educator who is based in Seoul but
works globally.
He is a professor at

Hanyang University,
Seoul, and leads a
research think-tank, Systemi:City.&#38;nbsp;
We focuses on

creatively leveraging emerging technologies in Design and Fabrication, with the aim of re-defining traditional notions of architecture.
Our academic studio is dedicated to exploring the potential for positive social and cultural impact through speculative architectural interventions in existing urban environments.
He is a co-founder of the inter-disciplinary studio RBLD.&#38;nbsp; The practice is motivated to explore the new possibilities of re-building the architectural narratives at all scales in various sectors, engaging with ideation, problem-solving, storytelling, and making.

While each project is unique and requires a tailored approach, our goal is to seek more meaningful relationships and new human experiences across objects, spaces, buildings, and nature.

He studied at the
University of Hanyang and the Royal College of Art, having graduated Interior
Architecture (BS) summa cum laude and Architecture (MA) with Distinction
respectively. He is known for his thesis project, entitled

Synth[e]tech[e]cology,

 which was nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal in 2013
and awarded the Sheppard Robson Prize at the Royal Academy of Arts’ Summer
Exhibition in the same year.&#38;nbsp;

Upon completing his
RIBA Part II from RCA in 2013, Chang worked for Heatherwick Studio, London, for
over seven years. There, as package lead, he delivered a wide range of
award-winning high profile projects, including Zeitz MOCCA, Capetown; Google’s
new headquarters in Mountain View, California; and the new Terminal 5 in Changi
Airport, Singapore. He also developed his specialism in computational design
and fabrication through consultancy at Front Inc until his return to Seoul in 2022.

His works have been
published in numerous international design magazines and journals, such as
Dezeen, Wallpaper, Daily Mail, AJ, Wired, Inhabitat and Space. His work has
also been exhibited globally, including in London, Stockholm, Milan, Seoul and
Tokyo.
